Are both the DCs (Primary + Add on) Cent Queen RSDCs and are LTF ??Opened a Cent Queen joint account today with 1000 initial funding.
Initially, they denied me for a joint account, saying that only two females can open this joint account. I had to convince them a lot, saying that my colleagues had opened the same account with their wives. After they agreed, I again had to convince them for 2 debit cards. Took me 2hrs in total for the whole process due to the rush.
Important Points:
1> Do mention that you want an add-on card and are ready to pay the fees. They will agree eventually. Everything depends on your bargaining ability.
2> I feel that the employees don't know much about the tnc of this account variant, even though every poster in the branch had an advertisement for this Cent Queen variant.
3> Even though there is no need for an initial deposit as per the tnc, it's better not to argue with the employees unnecessarily. They did ask me for a 3000 deposit, but I negotiated for 1000 and deposited.
Required docs (Need to be self-attested):
1> Aadhar and PAN copy of both applicants
2> 2 passport photos for each
3> Proof of current address (in case the state in your Aadhaar address is different from your branch state). I submitted a rental agreement copy, the latest electricity bill and a copy of the chequebook of a private bank with the current address.
Additional details:
1> SMS alerts are free of cost for this account
2> Debit cards are LTF but with a condition of min 2 transactions per month or 20 transactions per year.
3> I asked about the cent eez app. The employee said that it could be accessed after the account creation. However they were not sure about whether the debit cards will appear in the app or not before the card delivery.
The employees confirmed that the debit cards are chargeable and not LTF. As per the current TNC, they are free subject to the frequency of transactions, as I mentioned. Here is a detailed T&C that I had to sign and submit during account opening. Are both the DCs (Primary + Add on) Cent Queen RSDCs and are LTF ??
I'm planning to visit branch tomorrow !!
What I meant was that it's known that the Primary RSDC would be free given we fulfill the mentioned criteria of txns....but what about add-on DC...will it be also free if we fulfill the txn. criteria??The employees confirmed that the debit cards are chargeable and not LTF. Yes, the TnC is applicable for both the cards equally. The 2nd card is treated as an add-on card.Do 2 pos/Ecom transactions per month or 20 pos/Ecom transactions every year on each cent queen dc and it will be free.
check the debit card booklet. charges are written there. Its waived even for the additional card if you do the required transactions through the card. What I meant was that it's known that the Primary RSDC would be free given we fulfill the mentioned criteria of txns....but what about add-on DC...will it be also free if we fulfill the txn. criteria??

Any idea on the SMS Alert charges? I have opted for it for now, as the cent queen booklet in the branch has mentioned it as free for this account variant. Now, I am not sure if the charges are free subject to 25k QAB or if some other conditions are there.
