1% Cashback returns on HDFC Platinum Debit Card

Today my axis ace Autopay failed. Last month it worked smoothly. Also received confirmation call which got blocked my phone automatically. Call received at 6.20 after below sms. Other cc bill payment of just 1rs successfully debited. What could be reason of failure & below messages?

SmartPay Failed: AXIS00000NAGLD Bill ****** of Rs. 26504.46 via HDFC Bank Debit Card xx9934
Reason: card status/limit
Pay manually to avoid penalty

TXN DECLINED: Rs. 26504.46 on 01-05-25 at 06:19:07
On HDFC Bank Debit Card 9934
Reason: Technical failure
Please retry the transaction.

& On mail I got this:

bill payment of Rs. 26504.46 for HGAxxxxxxx via SmartPay has been declined due to PBE10002-Do not honour.

Anyone experienced this & know reason behind why this happened? Is there any chance it will retry to pay next day? Current status in schedule pay is "failed"

Go and check your debit card online transaction/pos limit. It must be below the bill amount that's why it failed. Keep it more than bill.

now autopay is the only way to get 1% on this HDFC PLT DC or you found any other way for this card
in any other website or app

No, limit was more than bill. I don't think it's because of limit.

I’m also getting the same with all limits already greater than the amount to be debited. Can anyone help or does anyone know about this?

Get the txn ID and contact Axis for same. Mostly BBPS payments are instant but if Axis server is down at that moment you can't do much.

Wait for atleast 3 days for it to reflect. On due date if you see no entry then pay manually and ge the refund of extra amount if it settles. Ab cashback toh aayega hi chahe payment settle ho naa ho toh zyada mat socho. Kahi aur se pay kar dena on due date.

Same happened to me. Yesterday morning money debited from HDFC account, showed successful in net banking, till now not credited to axis ace card

I came here to report the same thing...but I guess I'm not alone here !! 😛
I paid to two Axis cards from two HDFC accounts, both deducted but not credited to card!!

Yes. you get 1% cashback for all non-HDFC CC using SmartPay on HDFC Bill Pay portal, via your HDFC Platinum DC.

Now how to get it, if I have HDFC millenia DC ?

Yes mine also failed for Sbi CASHBACK..
Due date was 28th April
Ammount deducted on 24th April morning,on the same day evening got msg that transaction had been failed
Don't know why hdfc auto pay not successful for sbi cashback card!...🥴🥴
Till now hdfc autopay doesn't provide 2.5% cashback for kotak CC payment, their own HDFC cc payment.. and now i would include sbi cashback cc in their list

You should have received paid amount back to your account now.
Yes SBI cashback payments should not be done by this billpay method.
