IndusInd Bank Relationship: Aura Edge Add-on Card (Sept 2023) -> Add-on Upgraded to Legend (Mar 2024) -> Opened Indusind Select Account (May 2024) ->Applied Indusind Credit Card via @RS1910 (not blaming him in July 2024) (Which was rejected by the Bank after verification) -> Legend CC (Oct 2024)

14th Oct 2024
I got a call from some IndusInd CC agent that I have a pre-approved CC offer with up to 5L. I did not give importance as I thought she was just saying to complete her quota and asked her to call after some time. She followed up with me and I said I was not interested I thought again the bank would reject it. On 16th Oct I got a WhatsApp message with the same offer as mentioned by her earlier. I thought of giving it a try the link redirected me to a different website (http://easycredit.indusind.com/) where I was asked to give the OTP and got 7-8 options to select from.

Credit Card Options: Aura Edge, Platinum Visa and Rupay Variant, EazyDiner Signature and Platinum both variants, and Legend.
I opted for the IndusInd Legend Visa Variant as it will make my Select Account Zero Balance.
Application accepted instantly without any verification or documentation.

The card was generated on 18th Oct -> Delivered on 21st Oct with a 4.62L Limit which currently overtakes my ICICI Bank Limit (4.2L)
Only kept around 250 in SB and did max 10 transactions all small amounts from the date of account opening.

Now I need to get Indusind Tiger CC on Split base and waiting for the EazyDiner Signature LTF offer. Any idea how to get it?
Will keep the Legend as it complements my Select Account to 0 AQB.

Update Regarding Upgrading from Legend CC to Tiger CC:

Last I applied, got immediate rejection.
2.5L was my last limit. These morons havent updated my CL since last 2 years. My highest CL is of ICICI sapphiro for 5.8L and good cibil too.
I already hold Indus Select account since more than 4 years and never received even one upgrade/limit enhancement offer.
One of the worst banks in my experience.
I want to open Indus select, did you open the account online?
If I open it online how much balance should I fund it with while opening?

the thing is I want to first open a minimum balance account as I have heard that first we fund and they usually create problems during kyc and due to no telephonic support I don't want to wait and chase them if my account is not opened.
As soon as you do 50K funding, your account will be opened instantly. No VKYC or anything is required. Within 5 days welcome kit will be delivered.

okay correct me if I'm wrong. Earlier all digitally opened accounts were restricted to 1 lakh saving limit until customer used to go and do full kyc at branch. Is that changed now?
Yes, it will take the CKYC details from the account you are adding money from.
The account will be marked under full KYC and only the signature will be missing. I have been using the account for more than 1 year without adding a signature and more than 1L transactions have been done and tested.

Okay, so this reminds me of my rbl bank rm calling me and asking me to meet to enter ckyc number. On checking rbl bank app the ckyc number was missing and it's my 10 Years old account opened physically. What's the ckyc number?

A CKYC (Central Know Your Customer) number is a unique 14-digit identifier assigned to individuals who have completed the Central KYC process. It's used by financial institutions to access your KYC details from a central repository. This simplifies transactions and reduces the need to repeatedly provide KYC information to different institutions.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
  • What it is:
CKYC is a central database that stores KYC information of individuals in an electronic format. It's managed by the Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCRR).

    • How it works:
Financial institutions register with CKYCRR and can then access your KYC details using your CKYC number.
    • Benefits:
        • Reduces the need to repeatedly provide KYC documents.
        • Simplifies the process for both customers and financial institutions.
        • Helps maintain a single source of KYC information.
        • Improves the accuracy and consistency of KYC data.
        • Helps prevent fraud and money laundering.
    • How to find your CKYC number:
        • You can get your CKYC number by giving a missed call to 7799022129, according to ICICI Bank.
        • You can also view your CKYC card on the CKYC portal.
        • You can access your CKYC card through Digilocker.
        • Some banks, like SBI Card and IndusInd Bank, also provide ways to check your CKYC number online.

So why does my rbl rm needs my adhaar card for ckyc number? She could just ask for ckyc number from me? Rather bank should have found out the number themselves
