[Experience] Kotak 811 Super Account Blocked & Unblocked – My Timeline
I had opened my Kotak 811 account around 2016 and used it occasionally as a secondary account without any issues.
On 18th May 2025, I decided to upgrade it to Super 811, and ₹300 was deducted as expected.
However, on 18th June 2025, I received a message saying:
"Hi, Kotak811 A/c XXXX327753 is blocked as your transaction patterns differ from your regular activities. To unblock, visit..."
Surprised by this, I immediately sent all required details to Kotak customer care via email on 19th June.
Then on 20th June, they scheduled a physical KYC address verification. Unfortunately, I missed their call, and the agent did not visit.
I contacted Kotak again on 1st July, and they rescheduled the address verification for 2nd July.
Finally, after following up, my account was unblocked on 7th July 2025 at 5:00 PM
