My brother has clicked a link which said India post got stuck something and it asked 25 rs payment to which without a second thought he made the transaction. But 1,20,000 got debited from credit card. He immediately called the bank to register complaint and dispute the transaction.
The bank replied that it was an online transaction and it is only possible with card number and OTP and denied the dispute.
We escalated the matter to PNO and waiting for resolution.
Please help in this case and what can be done? The transaction will get disputed or we have to pay the money? He is helpless now and worried and don’t have the money to pay this amount.
