I applied through app...no separate link...they directly offered me bob variant...it seems, their logic came to know from cibil report that i already have yes bank credit card therefore offered bob varient.

Did you receive any invite to apply? Or you applied on your own? Were you an existing Uni SBM card user? From your post, we know that you have a Yes Bank credit card (which isn't Uni), right?

Mine's still on hold. I already hold yes marquee, maybe that's y. Hopefully they'll approve the bob variant as im out of zero forex cc now.

Oh ok that means SBM Uni users (their oldest users) will get onboarded later. Not executed properly by Uni as SBM Bank already closed our cards. I will give them –5 stars for this. On the other hand, Kiwi even allowed Axis Kiwi users to onboard to Yes Kiwi. That's the way a bank transition should be handled.

This Gold X BOB Uni looks very much like my old NX Wave SBM Bank Uni and quite different from the Yes Bank Uni NX Wave. I like the look more than the Yes Bank Uni card which looks like my old Uni Pay 1/3rd credit line card. But in SBM also if you customized the colors and choose grey or some other color, I think some people got a Yes Bank Uni like design.
