Spam loan calls

Someone I know used me as a reference for a Kreditbee personal loan, without my knowledge or permission. The loan company agents now calls me each and every day wanting me to locate the recipient and make him pay. How do I stop this harassment?
I informed them that he isn't in touch with me since few months, in reply they are saying .. ok, but tell that person to remove your number from his list to not get these calls..?
After a break of 1week, now am getting robotic calls from various numbers twice a day (Truecaller identifying them as Paytm Creditmate) as saying that i took loan from Kreditbee & haven't paid back..Press1 to clear the dues within 24hrs etc.. press 2 to get call back from loan recovery team.
What to do? any suggestions.

But once you get an idea after 3-4 matching numbers, you can block. That's what I used to do.

File a complaint on national consumer helpline. Clearly mention that they have taken data from borrowers device and harrassing me. I think this will work.

Ok, but What to mention? like who is harrassing? Should i mention it as Kreditbee?? or ..?

I used to get multiple calls from an Axis credit card agent. Even though, I told them I already have two cards with Axis and have no interest in getting another card, they kept disturbing me at odd times. So, I used TRAI DND app to report just one call from them. All calls from the agent stopped. The agent also used to call me from different numbers. Since then, TRAI DND has helped to block multi spam companies. Please give it a try. It might work, even though your use case is quite different. Good luck!
