SBI credit card limit increase

Guys I have applied limit enchantment for my SBI credit card on 27th Nov to SBI PNO. They asked for payslip and bank statement which I shared promptly.

It has been more than 1 month, but they are not increasing the limit or denying the request. I have followed up multiple times but getting some generic answer that it's in progress.

What could be my next course of action if any.

Also in app i can see automatic credit limit increase from 4.1 L to 4.25 L (just 15K increase). Should I take this or wait for the manual request to be processed first ?

Wait a bit more like 13-15 days than go to higher authorities regarding it

I have applied for limit enhancement through SBI card website by submitting ITR on 11th December. It was supposed to be accepted/rejected by 27th December. But no update yet, still shows in progress.

I emailed to pno, it says status will be updated soon as it's in progress 😂.

Will keep checking status once in a while, not gonna ask for update anymore.

I would suggest not taking the auto LE for now, as doing so will hamper your potential to get higher limit, since you've already shared your income documents. Wait for a bit longer till you get an update and then decide accordingly.

Is there a deadline given for your request? They usually do that and respond by then, although they are quite slow.

If its past the deadline, then escalate it to CustomerServiceHead@sbicard.com and try your luck.

They had given deadline as 10th December that is way passed.
I sent a strongly worded email to them and they replied me at a dedicated officer has been assigned to solve your queries on priority. They called me once and I picked up but couldn't hear what the other end was saying. After that within 1 min they sent a mail that they have done multiple attempts to connect to me and as I am not reachable asked me to call the 1860 number. I called back to 1860 number and the agent who picked up the call from pno desk said she doesn't have any updates on this and this is handled by backend team.

Now I am pretty mad with these folks. I was using the card very heavily (5-6 lakh in last 6 months) as it was beneficial to me but now thinking about moving the spending to other cards.

May be I will send a mail to customer service head. Any other path I can take like sending complaint to RBI(I don't have Twitter and not planning to open the account for these morons to tag them)

I assume their backend team are holidaying in goa 😂

My LE deadline was 27th December. Mailing customer head only says it's in process & they will update.

Any update on your LE request. My request deadline was 27th December. Still shows I progress. Request was done On 11th December. Soon it will be one month.
 
No progress as of now. Someone called from their side and told credit limit increase was paused company wide, hence the delay. God knows if that the truth or not. No deadline given.

Oh this reason makes sense, that's why they are not updating the service request. No other option than wait & watch.
