SBI Cashback Card - Query

Hi Community,


I applied for sbi cashback card on last monday. The vkyc and basic details verification call was done on the same day. Delhi call was done on next day that is on tuesday.


On friday i got another call where executive asked for the credit limit which i want to split from my existing sbi bpcl octane card. I availed 50.50 % limit. Same concent was provided over automated ivr message.


Today my bpcl octane card limit got revised to 50% but i have not got any update regarding cashback card application. Is limit reduceed means my card is approved? Or is it yet to be approved? If not approved will my limit revised back to 100%?


ANybody experienced the same?

Surcharge waiver is applicable for fuel spends between 500 to 3K.

Yes I know. But I made multiple fuel purchase in different petrol bunk with Rs200. Only showing 200 Rs even after settled

Will they charged it later?
Usually they need to charge 200+1%+18% gst. So total 202.36. right

Then probably all are not swiped on Fuel MCC?

It would be charged in same cycle, when the transaction is settled. They cant charge later.

Last time I paid at a petrol bunk, it was added in the final settled amount and the waiver was mentioned in the statement as below

See sbi cashback card doesn't charge any 18% for 1% surcharge. Right?

It would be charged in same cycle, when the transaction is settled. They cant charge later.

Its both,

Fuel price: 2000 INR
Surcharge : 2000 * 1% = 20 INR
GST on Surcharge = 20 * 18% = 3.6 INR
Total = 2000 + 20 + 3.6 = 2023.6 INR

Surcharge Waiver = 1% which is 20 INR.

GST is not waived off.
