Hey folks, I have the following cards. My primary goal is prune the cards which are redundant and maybe, add cards which cover the gaps.
1) Axis Atlas CC
2) Amazon ICICI Pay CC
3) ICICI Coral Rupay CC (for UPI Spends)
4) HDFC Swiggy CC
5) Niyo DCB Zero Forex Debit Card
A few observations:
1) The ICICI Amazon Pay CC sort of seems redundant. For smaller spends on Amazon, HDFC Swiggy will give 5% cashback as well. For larger spends, I might as well use Axis Atlas which will help me hit the milestone benefits plus give 4% rewards in the form of flights.
2) I got the ICICI Coral Rupay just for convenience, as it was easy to apply. Ideally I would like a RuPay card which I use with Gpay and something which has some other benefits as well. I do not want to use a standalone application for this, as my UPI merchant spends are pretty minimal.
3) I want some credit card which I can use for payments when I am abroad. The Niyo DCB works beautifully, but I would prefer a credit card over a debit card. I had applied for AU ixigo which got rejected due to a random reason.
4) Right now, I do not have rent or utilities spend. But that might change in the future.
5) I have access to get ICICI Sapphiro LTF through the alumni program. But not sure if it's worth it.
Help me build the most optimal and straightforward portfolio. 🙂
Thank you!
