Refund for Train Late for more than 3 hrs. IRCTC

My train was supposed to depart at 13:00, but the train has been delayed by 11 hours and i had to book a tatkal for other train


IRCTC should provide full refund it i file TDR.
But on the website the tdr page is empty.

Any one with prior experience can guide me?

Tickers were booked via hdfc smartbuy

Looks like it is too late now but for future you may contact HDFC concierge to file a TDR on your behalf. I had booked a train which got delayed by 12 hours. I called the concierge and they filed the TDR on my behalf.

It took one month for processing TDR but I got full refund.

I just received the full refund today.

Actually one has to file a tdr with booking agent/website through which one booked the tickets.

I didnt know it while posting the query but figured it out that day only.
