1.I have seen that almost every credit card charges some fee on fuel purchase. Is there any valid reason for this? Or this is just that bank want profit?
2. Almost all CC excludes gold from cashback. Banks charges MDR fee from merchant then why they don't cashback to customer?
I don't know about gold purchase. But for Fuel, the pump owners gross margin was around 3%. So they can't lose their profit by accepting credit cards. So banks charge a fee to customer directly for compensate the transactions fees.
