Plain Magnus or Emeralde PVC for primarily family lounge and forex?

I've BOB Eterna which has unlimited domestic lounge on 40k INR per quarter spend criteria with free add-ons that my family uses. I personally use IDFC Mayura for international lounge and its 0% forex with 3.3% RPs for all international spends.

However, my family now is planning international trips and I'm wondering which card I should get for them since Mayura allows only 4 lounge per quarter and add ons aren't free.

I don't have high ITR so the plain Magnus and Emeralde PVC appearing in my pre-approved sections might be the only options for me

While Magnus has a spend criteria for 50k, Emeralde PVC seems to have none. But Magnus is a metal card (like Mayura 🦚) and seems to have higher RP at first glance.

Which one do you guys recommend? Or is there any other card that's easy to get (like Times black) and might be better for me (unlimited international lounge with free add-ons)?

Emerald u can if u can squeeze the 12k plus gst
Base Magnus is not much use due to 5:2 trf rate as well as its exclusions

If it is possible you can try for HDFC Bank Diners Black. It has unlimited international and domestic lounge access for primary and add-ons.

Local branch refused to even apply after seeing self employed ITR 😅
Most banks have a similar stance so I've decided to try cards that are easily available to me (either pre approved or approved to everyone like Times Black)

Like everyone else in Technofino, I've had my fair share of fight with the HDFC CC team and decided no more 😅 Will rather pay higher fees for worse cards that are easy to get for my mental sanity 😅

Oh no. Just noticed they keep repeating "for the primary cardholder" under the lounge benefits section in their card product page. Guess plain Magnus is the only option for me. Thanks for catching this!

Emerald discontinued lounge access for add-ons sneakily a while back. DCB/Infinia is another option to consider.
