Payzapp has removed the wallet to account transfer charges, but from Aug 1st payzapp will increase wallet load charges through cc from current 1.5% to 2.5%. Also direct payment through non hdfc cc will incur charges 1-2.5% depending on category.

wallet is old news, they even said that at the beginning of that mail, no changes. Its 2.5% since about a quarter or so. Its about utility convenience fee with non-hdfc cc.

Why would you ever use a credit card for wallet loading when you can just use either NetBanking or UPI?

Any payment through non hdfc cc will attract charges not just wallet loading.

Ok...so don't use a non HDFC card?

It makes business sense considering that it's a portal for HDFC cards and not for the others.
