Paytm / Hdfc (Vyapar) Payzapp tap and Pay QR

Recently I have seen QR code soundboxes with Tap and Pay (nfc) symbol printed on them. But the machines have no way to input amount.

I have asked the owners, but they didn't have any idea on this? Does anyone know how we can use this feature ?
I have checked HDFC vyapar APP, it feels like we can push payment to accept from that soundbox via tap and pay using bluetooth connectivity but it didn't work for me.

Yes i have tried it but it's not real NFC payment. Instead the NFC is used in those soundboxes to just open a supported UPI app with shop's UPI ID already filled. Then the next steps are identical to any regular UPI payment.

Oh so read mode for NFC should be on to do that.
