Looking for some advice on how I can better optimize my credit card portfolio. I have business income with ITR well above ₹1 Cr, and below are my yearly spends different categories.
Here’s a rough breakdown of my yearly spending:
HDFC has been a dead-end for me. They’ve stopped increasing my limit for the last 3 years, and they’re refusing to upgrade or give any new cards, so kindly skip HDFC suggestions.
I’m open to getting premium or paid cards if the value justifies it. With these spending patterns, do you think I need to add any specific cards to maximize rewards or benefits – especially for travel, insurance, or utility spends?
Would love to hear what you guys suggest. Thanks in advance!
Here’s a rough breakdown of my yearly spending:
- At least 2 international trips a year – around ₹5-7L on international spends
- Flights + hotel stays (both domestic & international) – ₹10-15L
- Utilities (personal + business) – ₹6L
- Insurance – ₹2-3L
- Fuel – ₹2L
- Online shopping – ₹5L
- Offline purchases – ₹10L
- ICICI Emeralde Private + ICICI Amazon Pay – combined limit of ₹60L
- Axis Airtel – ₹7L limit
- IDFC Wealth – ₹15L (I do have the option to upgrade to Maurya in-app)
- OneCard – Barely use it, almost inactive
- HDFC Swiggy, Tata Neu, Marriott – total limit ₹3.7L
- BOB ICAI – Never really used, just kept for the ICAI logo. It's LTF.
