RuPay ON-THE-GO was officially launched in Mumbai Metro Line 3 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis in collaboration with NPCI, Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation and State Bank of India. This initiative brings the power of NCMC-enabled RuPay ON-THE-GO Cards to one of Mumbai’s most anticipated metro corridors.
Commuters on the Aqua Line can now enjoy a seamless, fast, and hassle-free travel experience.
Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (MMRC), in collaboration with NPCI and SBI, launched the RuPay National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) on Mumbai Metro Lines on Tuesday. This innovation allows commuters to simply tap and travel between Aarey JVLR and Acharya Atre Chowk, offering a fast, secure, and cashless solution that eliminates ticket counter queues.
The NCMC card provides a unified travel experience, usable across Metro Line 3, Metro Lines 2A & 7, and Metro Line 1. Importantly, NCMC cards from other Metro lines and transport operators like Chalo Bus are also compatible.
