Hi, I am a beginner user recently have access to SBI and ICICI Amazon credit card.
When I pay my SBI credit card bill via the mobile app , the limit is restored instantly !
However in my ICICI credit card, I made the outstanding payment through “iMobile” app. The amount was debited from my icici account. However the limit was not restored in the card.
How does this work out. ? Considering we are paying from ICICI app and from an ICICI saving account , I actually expected it to happen instantly.
Is this normal ? Does ICICI take time to restore limits after payment. ?

Yes the limit was restored. It is the unbilled transactions that are hogging the limit.
Also the notification system is so outdated compared to SBI cards.
SBI card Atleast has the decency to send sms/ email saying credit card bill of so much amount has been paid.
Icici will just send transaction alert 🚨 as if we are buying something else.
Other then customer care, I have really started appreciating SBI cards now.
