Is this a way of online KYC in ICICI?

I am observing in netbanking as well as Mobile banking that "Update Profile" is coming for me. Anyone has done this updating profile before? My account is with ICICI since long time. Is this kind of KYC for my account anyone knows?

This is a new feature from icici bank which gives the customer the option to update their profile time to time by themselves, you can update the profile by filling the details yourself. it's also present on latest version of imobile

Thanks just completed it. Actually whenever I see Bank asking salary, I feel panic, why all banks need to know their account holder's salary I don't understand.

So they can sell you stuff like loans, cards, etc
