Is sbi cashback credit card giving 5% cashback for bus bookings on government apps or flight bookings from cleartrip?

Someone please advice.

can you tell me to which customer care we have to call to ask for MCC code? credit card or merchant/website we have to ask there MCC code?

True. Only these categories are excluded from cashback as per their latest T&Cs:

Yes the cb card is waste now

They marketed the card with all online spends 5% last year but now it’s entirely different game

Hi! I did a transaction from www.pandit.com for Rs.2064, but I see that I havent got any cashback on this trx. This is an indian site but surprisingly, it asked me enable international transactions on my card. Only then, the trx got successful. So, will this trx earn me cashback?

You will get 5% cash back if you book through airlines website or paytm, not a single failure in my case. But if you are booking through partner website like MMT, Amazon, Yatra etc are like hit or miss.

Got 5% cashback from Etihad Airways (etihad.com) for a flight departing from Delhi (charged in INR).

For cleartrip and goibibo flights I got 5%. For GSRTC bus booking got 1% due to govt service/utilities MCC.

To know MCC, call customer care and share txn amount and date. They will share without any fuss.
