shameless apple selling 50k+ 2 phones 16 and 16e both without 120hz and here android's costing as low as 8,000 have 120hz.
 
I waited literally years for this, I’ll buy this,

Looks awesome i always wanted to have a single cam with iphone 13 design from apple finally it happened.

It has few features missing like Magsafe,Ultrawide Band Chip Cinematic Video, Dynamic Island but i’m fine with it.

It offers best chip best battery better than iPhone 16 tnx to new apple C1 Modem, Usb C apple intelligence(of course subpar till now). But overall this phone is going to sell like a hot cake, I’m sure flipkart will bring this down to 45K below during BBD sales & people go crazy for this

Yeah 60Hz screen is enough for me & for most of the people.

Yes, there will always be buyers ready , if the price is right for them for these kind of devices..
45K is definitely possible.. if the demand is not much, you can even get it around 40K as well within a year....

Apple discontinued iPhone 14 & SE 3rd gen so go to budget iPhone for most of the 45+aged typical Americans & Europeans is 16e also with trade in & carrier discounts it’s going to be much cheaper. People who are seeking an upgrade from se3 or iphone 12 & below without breaking the bank iPhone 16e is the go to option.
Coming to India,
For us iPhone is iPhone people went nuts over iPhone SE 2nd gen, so it will be biggest revenue generator for apple from India

on top of the above, it will be produced in India, and hence the margins will be much bigger..
 
Kinda new tradition form apple, usually they sell 3-4 generations or models of iPhones(Current year, last 2 years & one Se Model). But now only two models iPhone 16 Series & iPhone 15/Plus

Yes as they’re going to do well i want them to launch apple pay in India, my current iPhone does everything i want, except nfc payments! Or at least they should open up nfc chip to other developers in India, like they’re doing in EU & USA region

Even s20fe had a better screen. What's surprising is gsmarena has listed 87% screen to body ratio. The bezels looks bigger than that.
 
We also have to consider the additional AppleCare+ that costs 11k for 16e. It is unwise to purchase any iPhone without the additional warranty.

In-house modem and increased battery life are interesting things to watch out for. Both futures might help Apple to increase the cost of next gen iPhones by 10k to 20k just like 16e.
