Insurance premium deducted three times

TF Legend
Last year, Canara Bank activated a insurance called PMSBY( Pradhan mantri suraksha bima Yojana) in my Canara Bank account without my consent.
The premium was only 20 rupees/year, so I totally missed the transaction.

Yesterday, 20 rupees was deducted 3 times from my account, I noticed that Canara Bank activated this Government insurance in my account and last year 20 rupees was also deducted from my account.
Now, what should I do?
20 rupees is a very small amount but this was totally unethical from the branch.

And why they have deducted the insurance premium 3 times for the same insurance this year? Will the other two transactions be refunded automatically or I have to approach the branch for my refund?

Can I totally cancel it or complain against the branch to RBI/IRDAI?

Ideally it should be refunded. Wait for couple of days. As far as complaint is considered , since it has been more than a year I don't think you'll get favorable resolution. But there's no harm in trying.

Yes, but this year they have deducted the premium 3 times, the other two should transaction should be refunded.

I recommend contacting your insurance provider immediately to report the issue and request a refund for the extra charges. Keep all payment records handy for reference.
