If today I closed Au Cc then when can I apply for new CC

I applied and got the card, but never activated, got closed after 45 days, but not permanently closed from AU server, it is just marked with blocked or dormant status. So as per AU policy we cannot have another CC. Dumb rules, Dumb management, Dumb Service.
I hope you have not closed your Cc today.

It's strange to see
1. A customer takes the trouble of filling up online forms, selecting the card, doing the VKYC and getting the card.
2. And, strangely does not bother to activate it. Not 1 or 2 days. But, for the whole 30-45 days. So busy....
3. When the card is canceled by the rulebook, he again is desperate to re-apply.
4. When he can't, he starts abusing the bank, it's management and processing.
5. Issuing LTF cards has not only spoiled the CC customers for choices but even pampering them too much.

Strange indeed. And, apparently illogical, considering the wastage of resources - money, effort, time - at all levels.
