ICICI savings account type

I had this as a salary account till 2022 and then moved onto HDFC while changing employer. My monhtly average balance in this ICICI account is 5-6k because I thought I might face extra charges after salary account status discontinuation. Recently, I heard PSU banks are removing charges for non-maintenance of MAB and this made me asking ICICI customer care about MAB requirement of my account and they replied this. Can I trust this and keep balance zero at times?

ICICI doesn't change their account type from salary to ordinary.

I joined TCS way back in July, 2010 and left the job in Sep, 2010 and opened an ICICI salary account via them. Even after 15 years, ICICI still shows TCS as my employer in their account.
