Hotel & Flight Booking (Less costly, work related) - Suggestions Needed

Thank you to everyone who offered suggestions on this post. Reflecting on my travel from last year, I realize it’s time to confront the reality.
I can’t ignore and dismiss things I dislike any longer. This has been a moment of self-awareness.

I initially thought my travel spending was low, but it turns out it’s not. Here are my travel and hotel stays from the past year. It’s time for me to upgrade and get a card that provides better benefits or returns on my travel expenses. These were the places we travelled last 1 - 1.5 years.

Looking back, some hotels were local while others were part of chains.

I booked everything using Amazon Pay ICICI for both flights and hotels, earning 5% cashback. That was the best rate I found among other apps. On average, I spent Rs 25,000/- per trip, including hotel and travel, with some being more expensive like ITC.

The only other thing I did is that I claimed retro points in Indigo Bluchip for these flights.

Unfortunately, I don’t currently have any travel-focused cards. I need to get a travel-focused card since I have more travel planned for this year. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions in this thread.

I can’t rely solely on Amazon Pay ICICI and Tata Neu cards. A better card that offers reward points, milestones, gift vouchers, etc., would be beneficial. I have a banking relationship with HDFC and ICICI. I’m mainly looking for an HDFC card like RG or DCB (that’s my preference). If not, I’ll consider ICICI, but they lack good travel-focused cards. I’m not interested in entering the Axis ecosystem. The next best option could be Amex, but they aren’t issuing cards right now.

I know it’s late, but better late than never. I still have so many questions and doubts regarding loyalty points, additions and redemptions etc. I will ask when I face the situation.
