Guys which card is good for upi purposes the tata nue plus or the newly lauched virtual upi card? I am getting both for FYF but have to choose one which will you prefer?

neu card's reward rate is better and you get whatever reward you have earned as neu coin.

if rewards as cashback statement is important to you then go ahead with the virtual card. Try to get 3% cash points. Its annual fee waiver is also easy - Rs25000 of spends, just remember you can redeem only in multiples of Rs500 (or 2000 cash points).

For UPI payments, you get 1% for Plus and 1.5% for Infinity variant. There's a max cap of 500 per month.

Plus now we have tata neu rewards league where you can get a LTF card with spends on just 15k.

Consider you do grocery shopping for 1000 Rs and pay using UPI,

HDFC - 1000*3%*0.25 = 7.5 Rs

Neu - 1000*1.5% = 15 Rs

Reward wise no doubt tata neu is good. But tata neu is notorious for blocking neucoins redemption, check desidime, you can see many people complaining about it.
HDFC will never do that, especially if you have an existing relationship with them.
