Changes to Lounge Access Benefits on HDFC Bank Tata Neu Credit Cards, effective June 10, 2025.
As of June 10, 2025, HDFC Bank’s Tata Neu Credit Cards will have an INR 50,000 spent during the quarter to qualify for lounge access. You must spend this amount during a calendar quarter to be eligible for lounge access in the next quarter.
- Tata Neu Plus Credit Card: 1 Lounge Access
- Tata Neu Infinity Credit Card: 2 Lounge Access
Even better, if you change the card digits during the quarter (due to a lost card, an upgrade, or something), you will be unable to carry forward the spend on the prior card to the new one. So, for instance, if you spent INR 47,000 on the card in JFM, then you lost the card and got a new one issued as a replacement, then the spend counts for nothing for them regarding lounge access.
Lounge Access will move from swipe to voucher-based
In a unique move, the combination of Tata Neu and HDFC Bank will now allow access via a voucher, instead of a swipe-based access, adding another step to doing things. So, you will get an email/SMS to claim the lounge voucher/s within 30 working days from the day the quarter ends, and these will be valid for 120 days from the day of the claim. This is a good thing for the validity of the lounge access, as it will last for 4-5 months instead of just a quarter. Also, you can give it away as well (we will see when voucher issuance is live). HDFC Bank issued Tata NEU cards will move to a spend-based lounge access system as of June 10, 2025. You will need to spend INR 50,000 a quarter to get your lounge access perks from the day, and these will be delivered as Dreamfolks vouchers from Gyftr.
