Good first Rupay crredit card

Hi,
I have a regalia and apay credit card which suffices my use. I'm looking for a rupay credit card which will be the first rupay. I wish to get a non-coobranded one and that also offers lounge access. Rupay Select could be good. now, I'm not hell bound on LTF only as long as the terms for reversal of charges is sane or the card itself has very low renewal fee like ₹200. I've had a look at what PNB offers but I'm also curious about options from more bigger banks like Axis, Yes bank etc. Any suggestions?

Tata Neu Infinity CC, you can get it LTF.

If you have spends on the Neu platform, the Neu cards are worth it. Else, go for PNB Rupay Select. Effectively LTF, excellent lounge access coverage.
You can apply even if you don't have a PNB account, better apply online. Being a Sarkari bank, PNB does have its problems and you may have to wait a bit even if your application is approved. But it is a decent option if you manage to get it.

and later get your both HDFC cards cancelled when Tata neu and HDFC finds out.. is that you are suggesting?
I was only suggesting this as a method, and it's the discretion of the user to either do or not to do. But as you're suggesting that the cards can get cancelled so it's a method not to be considered.

Otherwise, You can get it FYF and considering the spend Bank can make it LTF.

I checked in neu app, both neu plus and neu infinity arent LTF. They are just FYF with 500 and 1500 renewal fee. I found this thread but isnt accessible to me.
Just get the card. Ask them to make it LTF after it is approved. Even with the fees it is worth it tbh.

I settled for HDFC's digital rupay card based on my Regalia. 99/year isnt a big deal which I should get covered in rewards and offers. Couldnt risk with neu since its not LTF and do not know if HDFC will ever make it LTF if emailed.
