Fuel surcharge not waived on SBI BPCL?

I have a SBI BPCL card and i made a fuel transaction worth Rs 3000/- using the card. But I got charged Rs 3035.40/-.
The surcharge should be waived off right?
Why i got charged more?
How can I raise a request/complaint for the same?

This was my first fuel transaction on a credit card so i am not aware how surcharge waiver works.

Most likely the surcharge will be reversed in a day to two. The same happened with me with IDFC select card. The charges were reversed but without the gst

The fuel surcharge gets waived off in 2-3 working days as soon as the transaction get "settled". No need to worry, it'll reflect eventually
