Hello TFCians,
As many of you know, I travelled to Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake was my third stop. Fleur De Chine. Located on the banks of Sun Moon Lake in Yuchi City, Nantou County Taiwan which is around 4 hour drive from Yilan County located in almost at the center of Taiwan. This hotel offers stunning views of Sun Moon Lake from all sides the property.

Experience:
- This property was chosen to explore the hot springs within the resort and I had used HDFC Infinia Points redemption for the stay. Costed me around 50000 Points (Equivalent to Rs. 50000) for 1 night stay. This is very premium property over there and crowd favorite as it offers excellent view of Sun Moon lake, Hot Springs and excellent choices of food. Booked it around 3-4 months prior and have cancellation option to keep on tracking for better prices. To my surprise price keeps on increasing, so had to continue with the booking. The property is expensive because of peak season and weekend during my visit. Japanese and Koreans visit this property a lot and during weekdays it may drop to 40000.
- During Check in I have requested them for upgrade and they accepted the upgraded. Room was under complimentary breakfast again and they offered Dinner as complimentary and we couldn't have lunch next day due to the Bullet Train schedule we have from Taichung Railway Station.
- Overall Checkin process was smooth and the property was very calm and peaceful with stunning Sun Moon Lake Views.

Xuanzang Temple: We have taken a private yacht which was booked on Klook using Times Black voucher which is around 14K for 2 hours which include ride and Xuanzang Temple which is around 20 mins journey from the bay. The temple has cultural heritage linked to India and offers stunning views of Sun Moon Lake. We have to trek for around 200 steps to reach to the temple.
Some Info from Wikipedia: Syuentzang Temple was built in 1965 by the Nantou County Government in honor of Hsüan-tsang (also romanized as Syuentzang or Xuanzang) (602–664), a prominent Buddhist monk who made a seventeen-year overland journey to India during the Tang dynasty (618–907) in the seventh century. It sits on a hill named "Cinglong" (靑龍山) near the Sun Moon Lake, the largest body of water in Taiwan.
Fleur De Chine hotel has the best Stone Spa blended with Hot Spring best for the relaxation (They offered 30% discount). As this is just the hotel review, Sun Mook Lake more details would be covered later in Complete Taiwan review.
Overall Rating: 4 / 5
It would have got more rating as 4.5 but gave 4/5 due to high prices during weekend. But the experience was good overall.
