For IDBI BSBD, I got CC last year and then closed tha a/c, CC is still active.

I applied for Royal Sig Visa, but got basic Aspire Visa. Any way both are useless due to no good offers. Reached out to RBIO, but RBI took side of IDBI

Not much difference btw both in terms of rewards. Did you go to branch to open the account or its online?

I applied the a/c online and while collecting passbook from branch, applied the CC offline.

Nope, I got call from ABM to collect the passbook from branch, but got Chq book & DC through courier.
For CC, the ABM checked my eligibility for Royal Sig CC after fetching Cibil score with my permission, attached & checked my income docs & other highest limit CC bill with the application. To mention more, the ABM filled all info in his computer and ticked Visa Royal Sig, even the filled application form that he printed had Visa Royal Sig ticked. Still got basic Aspire with limit of 1.50L .
RBIO silently closed the case under non-appeleable cause. Their Kolkata region Zonal Officer called me and told CC has been issued based on eligibility verified at their CC depatment. RBIO remained silent after that inspite of providing them all sort of proofs including the printed application form with Royal Sig ticked and Cibil enquiry details.
That day onwards I have made my mind to raise every case with RBIO claiming compensation which will be better dealt thoroughly.

Even I though may be income range for Royal Sig might be high. RBI Omb is useless these days I made complaint against Indus and gave proof stupid RBI closed complaint stating I did not reply to their email. I showed screenshot that I replied on the same day I received email from RBI. Still they copy paste some script like an idiot. I guess banks are giving some bribe to shut RBI mouth. Now RBI is their pet on leash it won't bark or bite without their permission.
