I got my Millennia card issued my Dinner club instead of Visa, So is it beneficial to stay in Dinner club network?

No, It's my first HDFC card.

There are no such "benefits" to stay on Diners network and it's better to switch to Visa platform unless you are okay with frequent card declines for offline txns

I have faced multiple card declines at many offline stores, so have converted the card variant to Visa platform after getting frustrated

Depends on the POS machine/payment gateway. Most of the new ones (the touchscreen ones) work fine. The ones from HDFC bank generally work too. Others are a hit or a miss.
If the machine accepts RuPay, it'll accept Diners Club too.

Should not be DCB since below Black edition there are some other 3 variants which could have been issued or offered to him.
