Credit card bill auto pay

I currently have credit cards from hdfc and icici. I enabled auto payment of credit card bill on both and it’s seamless because I have savings accounts from both the banks. If I get a credit card from a difference bank and I don’t have its savings account, or something like amex which is an independent credit card provider, is there any way we can still have auto bill payment done?

Bank of Baroda visa cards can be set for automatic payments under HDFC Bank. But not others so far for me.

hdfc allow Auto pay for different cc too, out of 12 cc only 2 aren't supported cause their in co-branded so you can Auto-pay then too , for hdfc in bill payment and add credit card by clicking on add biller

Pay Credit Card Bill Via HDFC Bill Payment Portal And Get 1% Cashback

You can see the status as "Pending". That mean actually you should stay away paying bills for that credit card. But with that status some of us able to transact/pay successfully next day.

It doesn’t allow auto pay for other bank CC bro. Maybe you’re confusing bill pay with auto pay?

SBI and amex allow auto pay through NACH mandate. For all others, you will need a savings account in that bank.

It doesn’t allow auto pay for other bank CC bro. Maybe you’re confusing bill pay with auto pay?

For cb I have disable auto pay but it there when you add new cc

Yeah bill pay can’t fetch bills of other bank cc so no autopay.

since it can't fetch bills it can't autopay you can pre-set a limit then again you would a number you think is more than your spend or equal to that spend in that card which is very hard to guess.
