Select card is available on all account variant

Account opening experience -
Branch was fairly new (1-2 year old )

1- asked about account opening was referred to another counter for account opening form
2- person asked about local address ( my permanent is 30kms away)
3 - filled form basic details ( 2 picture+ Sign + basic details) went to 3rd person
He opened via tab
(2 OTP required - one from canara bank
One of aadhar OTP )
4 - applied rupay select dc ( he asked 1100 lagega sir ) he applied while filling application
( Rupay select international)

5- got account number+ downloaded app & asked for account verification code from the employee which they generated & sent on account & viola account is activated+ mobile Banking



Over-all --- account opening was so smooth everything happened in 10 minutes with minimum words exchanged

There is option for online account opening too same process but people have experienced that u have to go fo branch for verification
So better if offline if you can visit

Mab - 1k(500-2.5) depending upon location
Dc charges - 1180 ukik
( Good thing is it's annual charge & no issuances charges so FYF )

Today in 2nd quarter I have redmeed
1- spa
2- gym
3- cab
4- health ( didn't reddem but its there )

So there is now no question either it's quarterly or not in Canara Bank

Btw my digital kyc done, banking hours only upto 6.30 so I will do tomorrow, let's see..

And you can't proceed different mobile number which was linked with others... Same like others many bank specially govt. I need to change after opening. If there any online process mobile number update ?

They have also dedicated person 🙄 I never seen like that in PNB, SBI Bob ... In those branch they are multi-talented do everything 🤣 but kavi kam na karne ka man ho to bolta hein , Jo e kam karta hein wo nehi aya ... SBI me account open karne jaw to bolta hein ... Bahar CSP hein unhe bolo khol dega 🤣
