They will auto upgrade/downgrade with no charges so no harm unless they charge dc charges differently

What is the highest variant? highest is platinum...qab...above 1 lakh....you have to keep money required for the account variant for a quater...then it will either upgrade automatically or you have to contact branch manager and get it upgraded...in sbi there is no non maintenance charges...if...

Issuance is only free for select card they charge annual fees on everyone 😂

I mean atleast they are SBI but IDFC will charge 200 for 10k mab and 500 for 25k mab 😂

Couple of years ago when they wanted to charge non-maintenance charges and apparently most of their customers were to be penalised, I was losing 47 rupees every month, after one or two months I was throwing fit in the branch near me and asked manager to close my a/c.

Later in same month I think RBI asked SBI to remove these as most are rural or below average earning customers so it would be near impossible to ask them to maintain.

I was very relieved at that point. I don't even know how much they were asking for maintenance but I was pissed by shear fact that I had to maintain anything in SBI and on top of that take sh*t from thier employees.
