Axis not Upgrading Magnus to Magnus Burgundy

I have been holding magnus card since 2023.
I wanted to upgrade my card to Magnus for burgundy.
I have maintained 10L AQB and my account was upgraded to burgundy account last month.
I am ready to put 30L in my account for my one glance statement to reflect 30L in the account (suggested by a CC executive in my branch but he says he can only apply for a new magnus burgundy card and not an upgrade)
According to magnus CC helpline i am not yet eligible for the upgrade and if I apply for a new M4B card my edge reward points won't transfer. Can you please help me here.
I just want to upgrade my magnus CC to M4B card and transfer my points old to new upgraded card
PS - My monthly post tax salary is 2.72 lakhs

There is only 2 ways
maintain 10 lakh per month and after 3 or 4 months call them that you want to upgrade you card
Another way is create FD of 30 lakh

Both ways need 3 to 4 months, after that your account will become true burgundy. There is no such way to get this card early.

So that means after upgrading to a burgundy account I need to maintain 10L for 3-4months(which is just 1 month for me right now).
I had maintained the 10L for last 4 months, but since it wasn't burgundy account it doesn't count right?

Yehh, old maintain not work, it will count from the burgundy status change.

Probably thinking this thread would be better to ask the query. Seeking some help on these please.

1. Does any one have idea about, if one is having normal Axis Magnus (paying 12.5K membership fees) and few months down the line, if we have Burgundy Eligibility, upgrading the normal magnus to Burgundy Magnus will effect 30K membership fees? Did not see anyone mentioning this scenario.
2. At least I think it is written that the points will transfer without loss and the new transfer ratio will kick in on the same points.
3. Also does not mention, how does the milestone completion calculation work, where you have spent some amount in normal magnus and upgrade after 6 months, how is the yearly spend get calculated.
4. Also the transfer limit restrictions, they apply in the calendar year like Jan 1 - Dec 31 irrespective of when the card was activated?

Would be helpful if anybody had the experience of upgrading Magnus to Burgundy recently.

I got Normal Magnus in Jan 2025, Started heavily using it from April 2025. Also started Burgundy A/c on 5 Apr 25. RM said will have to wait for 45 days from 1 full month of maintenance of 10L AMB. I meanwhile fully utilized the Group A transfer Limit by transferring to Aeroplan. Got Magnus for Burgundy Upgrade on 28 June. Got Billed also as soon as Upgrade was initiated on call by Axis customer care. But they have not revised Group A limit to 2L. The remaining balance limit from normal Magnus has been carried forward post upgrade to M4B.
Whatever points I had with normal Magnus now convert to 5:4. But group A limit has not been revised to start from zero.
