Axis Magnus Axis Magnus MasterCard Credit Card Add-on Request Not Allowed ?

Hello,

I have recently got Axis Magnus in MasterCard variant and now i want to apply for add-on credit card. I got info from Axis that Magnus MasterCard variant is not allowed to have Add-on cards.

Is this true? Anyone here can confirm same? Please reply if anyone received MC variant add-on and what is process you followed.

what additional benefit does it provide
i know that visa variant you get benefits of visa infinite
