Hey everyone,
I'm in a really frustrating situation with Amazon India and could use some advice from the community.
On July 14, 2025, I received an iPad M3 Air that I ordered from Amazon. My order was specifically for the 13-inch, 256 GB model with 5G Cellular + Wi-Fi.
However, upon opening the package, I immediately realized they sent me the Wi-Fi only version. This is a significant difference as I specifically need the cellular capabilities for my work/usage.
I raised a complaint with Amazon on the very same day, July 14th. They initially told me the issue would be resolved by July 18th (today). But today, they've informed me that they are denying both a refund or a replacement for the product!
This feels incredibly unfair. I paid for a specific product and received a different, less functional, variant. I have photographic and video evidence showing the model I received doesn't match my order details.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue with Amazon India, especially with high-value electronics? What steps did you take? I'm currently considering escalating this to the National Consumer Helpline, but any direct experience or tips on how to push Amazon for a resolution would be greatly appreciated.
