AADHAR Card & Data Anti-Fraud Best Practices? Masked Unmasked, Biometrics, Copies shared at Banks/ Hotels/ OYO etc?

- Got a PDF copy - Masked vs Unmasked - Wonder where Masked ones are valid to give vs not? Pros / Cons?

- BioMetrics Section of Dashboard - How/ when to decide to enable or disable said fields? Strategies/ Tactics/ Approach?

- Photos of the card had to be shared with Hotels/ OYO staff (medical stay) and family groups (wedding event) - Thoughts/ Concerns on this front?

PS: I recently had to resume travel for medical treatments and also did a side visit for a family event/ wedding, hence curious.

You can use masked aadhar - accepted

Unless otp , biometric isn't done by you .. there is unlikely chances of fraud

Else photo copy shop would have become Like drug cartel .

Banks / Credit Card companies typically ask for AADHAR. - Will they accept MASKED one? Have to send one to HDFC for C2C.

Esp for ID & Address proof.
They also ask for PAN.

Masked officially accepted but some banks didn't work on same like applying idfc card we have to fill adhaar number only etc. also they might not accept on offline as they have less knowledge about it.
Again what to hide with banks ? If they want scam you there are number of ways present there.

Ya, DL and voter I'd can share as they carries limited amount of data as compared to adhaar.
