Hello fellow travelers! I'm excited to share my recent short trip to Bali, Indonesia, where I experienced the beauty of this tropical paradise without breaking the bank. Join me as I take you through my journey, from the luxurious flights to the stunning sights of Bali, all made possible with a strategic use of miles and points.

Flight: I began my journey with a luxurious Thai Airways business class flight from Kolkata (CCU) to Bali (DPS) via Bangkok (BKK), using 105,000 United miles and just $53 in taxes. Despite the short layover in Bangkok, I made the most of my time by relaxing in the Royal Silk Orchid Business & First Class Lounge before boarding the A350-900 aircraft to Bali. The flight experience was exceptional, with comfortable seating and delicious Indian cuisine served on board.

Hotel: For my accommodation, I chose the Stones Hotel at Legian Beach, conveniently located near the beach and main road. With just 92,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for three nights, I enjoyed a luxurious stay with access to all the amenities and attractions of the area.

Day 1: Arrival in Bali Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, I quickly cleared the visa on arrival process and took a Grab taxi to my hostel in the vibrant Legian area of Kuta. After settling in, I headed to Kuta Beach to watch the breathtaking sunset, marking the beginning of my Bali trip.

Day 2: Exploring Ubud The next day, I hired a car to explore the cultural heart of Bali in Ubud. From visiting temples to wandering through the bustling Ubud Market, I immersed myself in the rich culture and beauty of this enchanting town.

Day 3: Visiting Iconic Temples No trip to Bali is complete without visiting its iconic temples. I embarked on a temple-hopping, marveling at landmarks such as Tanah Lot, Uluwatu, and the Handara Gate. Each temple offered a unique glimpse into Bali's spiritual and architectural heritage.
