thanks to this thread. tried closing octane, was told not elegible for LTF and annual fee waiver already availed last month when i actually wanted to close the card. i asked for my simplyclick card and they agreed on LTF. recently closed my olamoney also
while i agree with most of ur points. that is not 1.4%. there are people paying 1.4% interest a month in homeloans / or other loans and still have foreign trips officially or for business . For them it is 1.4 % interest loss per month of wait

Yes,but. Paytm balance can be used to pay credit card bills and they often come with cashback offers on cc load. Also if achieving milestones is the reason for paying cc bills using other cc, transferring is cheaper
By far the worst thing that can happen to credit cards and travellers. Even for educational or medical purposes, what if i am staying abroad and paying my tenant or restaurant via a card? direct 20% even if u are travelling for medical/ educational issue. take a taxi- 20% wow. take a coffee...
why would u do that when u can transfer using the likes of snapay etc for about 1 % to get the same rewards? even paytm have multiple offers of cashback points often
