No additional benefits but it gives 3.33% reward rate on all trxn, so after deducting the convenience fee(asuming its not more than 1.3%) I can still get 2% reward rate.

Yes you get access only after reaching the monthly or welcome benifits limit. I was also trying earlier and got the same error message. You will get an email or sms (after a few days) once you reach the thresholds.
