I had sent a feedback email to RBI regarding a similar concern and got the following reply from them. I don't think they would take any action though.

GPay uses Bill Desk mode of payment and it shows the same in credit card transaction history in the app. It took 2 working days for me to get the same credited to my Stan Chart credit card.

Please get that "Enable Marketing" as NO also otherwise you will unnecessarily get a lot of spam calls after receiving the card.
