i have a old millenia DC MC world. If u want a MC world card, then its good though im yet to see a single offer from MC. With Visa too, that card is probably platinum or lower. So for this DC at least, dont think visa or mc even matters cuz u dont get anything from them anyway

Depends on the bank. For example with Axis u need to go to last screen with card choices and then hit apply before the enquiry is put in. Which is the right way to go about (shocking considering it's axis). The stupider banks like AU do it before even showing u what CCs u are eligible to apply...

Happened to someone I know. She had a HDFC savings acc and used to keep getting calls from HDFC for CC with 50k limit. She said she started getting these calls/emails in 2020 and she just ignored. Few months later it increased to ~80k and finally last month she got a preapproved no conditions...
