    You can upgrade if your existing card limit is more than 10L and have spent 8L above in last 6 months. NRV matters but if you have good spending then you can try by sending and email to the cc team.

    Some times they waive off renewal fees based on your spending. You can ask for it if your spendings are good enough. Actually amex earn a lot from MDR charges.
