As your ITR is 30L and your limits across cards is 43L you're not over leveraged (<1.5times) - If your Credit limit range crosses above 2-2.5 times (Estimated) your ITR then SBI may consider you over leveraged.

...as I know. SBI me C2C nahi hota hai, never heard of it. SBI ka easy funda hai, apply online, CIBIL theek hai to application process ho jaega. Then verification sahi se ho gaya to approved ho jayega. Over leveraged ho to reject ho jaega before processing. If you need referral, DM. Else ignore.

sbi took this word 'over leveraged' when rbi said provide proper reasons rather saying internal reasons. which according to them worked for many times. its better either try to switch that simplyclick to octane or apply separately on other family members name. as mentioned 16 years can't...

for most of the banks it is okay.. SBI is notorious for Over leverage concept.. I think there are a few other banks like SC ans some other one or two banks ... but out of all SBI is the most strictest for over-leverage concept

That is because u already have maximum limit from sbi cards as of now. Mostly reason will be U2(Over-leveraged). No use visiting the branch. Just drop a mail to sbi cards, ask them for the reason or reconsideration.

This will be like a religion thing for SBI.. ie Over leverage… If you are really over leveraged then you won’t get any SBi card let alone CB card
