    Many shops in rural area will not have Card machines only. Toh JCB acceptance ka kya karoge janaab, lol. Many vending machine are cash only. Or passmo/suica....

    Japan is Cash heavy... Anywhere outside of metro areas if you go, you might find yourself in need of cash... Keep it handy. Also this has a cap I think in the Rupay card. So, once you exhaust that, move to 0 forex ones... And cashback I think will be credited in about 6-7 months post this. So...

    I don't want to deal with things not being available in Discount Broker. Plus with recent thinking, I have come down toonly proceed with brokers who have physical presence or a person I can contact in case of difficulties. I don't mind paying high charges, but I absolutely need peace of mind.

    It depends on country to country. Like for Europe, I can open a bank account so the client can just do a bank transfer and Wise will take care of the rest. But, say for Japan, the client should have a Wise account.
