...they use pos under different Merchant categories and in there countries no such nonsense exclusion of mcc codes or rent surcharge etc. But when we Indians go for forexspends if such surcharge or rewards are not given then no point at all because there is nothing like 0 forex eyewash to customer.
I too got my card today (Virtual) 3.5L limit
Main reason is 0% forex as I travel a lot. Also, what is the lounge access restriction on this? If I spend 10K I am immediately eligible for accessing the lounge or should I wait for the next month/quarter?

It is only good for zero forex transaction and unlimited lounge access. Travel bookings are usually available at 15-20% through bank offers on third party websites. 4% on Scapia is useless.
BP is more rewarding for spends / month less than 1.5L - 6% reward rate vs 4.8% in M4B
BP is brilliant for forexspends. 6% reward rate and zero forex charges.
M4B is better for spends above 1.5L per month. So you will have to plan accordingly. For the months you expect spends to cross...
None of these cards gives you positive returns on forexspends and you have already reached gold tier. Unless you plan to reach plat tier by the card anniversary year, it is not wise to spend on Atlas.
Get AU Ixigo, LTF card, zero forex(no rewards).
