The agent mentioned that the 10% cashback limit of Rs.1000 is separate for add on card. Is it correct?

So apparently one can chat or call hdfc CS and tell them you want new add on cards so that the numbers are diferent and they will take that request and request issue new cards with different numbers. This will give you extra cards to use on gyftr.

Forget 5000 in banner as people never get promised 500 Amazon voucher from SBI. These vouchers worth upto 5K are for those cards with more than 3000-5000+ Annual charges cards + as it is SBI there can be Manual Charges too by them until unless a feminism stricken woman converts it to Womanual...

I'm confident that Airtel will survive atleast 1 more year (very less chances to further devaluation than currently it is), so its better to choose this card for your spends but that only covers upto 2.5K per month. But better option, IMO. Consider MRCC card from AMEX and spend 1.5L to earn 5%...

Have you personally verified this btw? Strange that the customer care personnel instead said that the 10% cashback is per account basis and hence cashback is given on the combined total of purchases from the primary and all the add-on cards.

It all depends on how you use it. 5x on smartbuy vouchers is a big deal which gives you double that of DCB. If you keep aside 1x (regular rewards), it's 4x on Infinia against 2x on DCB. With additional fee on Amazon vouchers, DCB is not worth buying these vouchers with. I feel, a normal person...
