I requested SBI to changemybilling date and one of the conditions I got was the following:
"You will have to foreclose the S2S plan in case you want the billing cycle to be changed."
Can anyone please tell me, what does this mean?
Hi All..
This is to highlight fraud done by Axis in posting cashback on the Axis Airtel credit card
My Statement generation date is 12th of every month.
For the Airtel Broadband payment of 942.82 done on 11th October the same was not posted in October month Statement but posted in November...
Hi, I have the same query as yours. Please tell me that after changing your statement cycle when was your first statement generated? Was it 25th December or 25th January?
The best part is we can pay bill in two different month to avail the Bill payment benefits using debit cards most effectively.
Rewards/ cashbacks are based on calendar months only.
So you had outstanding balance on billed date but it wasn't reported.
Coz in order to improve cibil, I was pre-paying every bill before due date and with this fortnightly system it's even more confusing
Why are you so paranoid about this?
Relax man.
All my shibill reports have 26th or 27th as reporting date for sbi cards. They only report bill generated amount not USED LIMIT.
Dont know about recent changes adaptation by banks about rbi circular for bi monthly reporting mandate
What do you mean by amount difference?
Each bank has their own report methodology i.e. Some reports on later date but picks due/outstanding from different date,
"as sbi picks amount which was due/outstanding on last date of month but put on reporting portal before due date of same account"...
Glad my post could clarify your doubts! You're right—fortnightly reporting will definitely make us more mindful of utilization throughout the month, not just around the statement date. It'll be interesting to see how this impacts credit management strategies moving forward.
Hi
I have an answer to this. I tested this personally this month. While i will have to test this once again on 31st.
Most banks with fortnightly reporting are reporting outstanding balances as on reporting date.
Means that you can repay everything on 12th or 13th and it will be reported zero on...
First confirm the reason from Axis bank because due to it many wrong news spread.
I want to tell you that sometimes like in my case I have done transaction on phone pe gift card of rs 200 on phonepe by purchasing from Axis liberty card and the transaction date and time was like (somedate) at...
Bro, Nothing like this what you are assuming that ICICI intenitonally break Bharat Connect payment.
After getting new card it can take upto 30 days for that to be workable on TPA like BBPS. As I said, sometimes things take their own sweet time in life but settle down eventually. Already pointed...
Yes. Call or email customer care. Some axis cards have fixed cycle which you cant change. Some banks dont allow you to change unless outstanding is zero. Banks like icici allows you to changebilling cycle via app even with outstanding.
